music: If I Had Eyes - Jack Johnson
hey everyone!
i just wanted to make a quick post - i did my band test on wednesday - i got 1 minute, 27 seconds. (*phew*) i didn't fail, but the best score in our band was eek, eek, 25.2 seconds!
(eek, eek, ekk, ech, ahem.)
i have been listening to if i had eyes, like, a million bazillion times. ( check it out! )
I dragged out my archives - i found this old thang hanging around in cyberspace...

hoo my, that is an old thang. i think i was 6 at the time...
well, in other news. nothing. i have no other news. i'll post later.

ab-so-frickin-lutley
location: Home
mood: giddy~su
music: Handlebars - Flobots
agh - i thought i would hold back on finishing my kathy reichs books, she only comes out with one per year - i didn't. i finished yet another at 4 o'clock (PM, duh) today.
i actually thought Cross Bones was THE most deep, most intriguing kr books ever. tempe thinks she found jesus' skeleton. it was really fascinating. so many jesus theories!
my favorite line is when ryan's temp. detective is asked if he wants to go back looking for a skeleton in a dark tomb. (i won't give away TOO much o.O):
"We get to be tomb raiders?"
"Are you in?"
"Ab-so-frickin-lutley!"
so, i was with nadeshiko on friday night. lolz, we had a GREAT time. (well, i did anyway.) so we went out for dinner, then went to "Jo-Ann's" to look for a nice fabric for my greek school costume that her mum's making me. of course, we headed to her homefront and played her newly earned wii. yay! we played BRAWL! it was uber fun - she and her brother let me play as peach, every time, ja! (princess peach rox!) then i went home, and slept, after reading a little FLCL. (mmm, FLCL)
then, yesterday, we went to the mall (uck), the apple store (check plus plus), ate cinnabons (NOM NOM), and saw drillbit taylor, the suckiest movie in the century. it was horribly offensive, and should never have been in theatres.
then, during the evening - i watched a wings game for the first time since they last won the stanley cup. (oh, do i remember that moment) they were up against pittsburgh and they totally whupped them. i am going to follow this red wings venture, and see where it might lead me...
in other news :
DAVID COOK WON!
oh yeah. sweet, sweet victory. (why i am excited - I did not win...)
in the past week, four (that's right, 4!) of his songs were on the top 10 songs purchased list on itunes. and for victory, i must ecstatically say - ab-so-frickin-lutley

vote cook!
location: Home
mood: geeky
music: Viva la Vida - Coldplay
yay! now that i'm not so sad about zackie, well, you know, (esploding)...
i can put all of my energy into rooting for david (cook, of course). n_n
some of my friends don't care, and the majority of them vote for (ugh) archuleta...
if you don't know what i am talking about, AMERICAN IDOL, silly! i know that this is the most cheesy show on all of television - but my mum got me started, and for the first year, i actually know the contestants!
So, text "vote" to 5701 ! (yes, for david cook !)
(wait - you could also call 1 - 866 - 43657 - 01)
so, tomorrow, we have a food and garden club field trip type thing. we get to go to the local farmer's market, and the community gardens, stuff like that. it's ALMOST all day, so... *grin* YES.
we also have a science test tomorrow. but, we do come back later in the day - we still have to take it.
other exciting stuff, i guess. in human anatomy club today, we dissected lungs. yay! i don't think i have actually done a lung before - i have done hearts, eyeballs, brains, femurs, clams, uh... pretty much everything but lungs. we filled the lungs up with a bicycle pump, they got so big, we thought they would explode. they did, sort of - there was a pop, and then a big hole... oh noes! anyways, we put some tissue under the 'scope and saw the little alveoli, and we cut through and found the bronchi. stephen and i found the diaphragm - it was a teeny shelf of muscle in sheets of tissue.
if you grossed out, i apologize, i get so excited about these kinds of things.
bye!

a great saturday :)
location: Home
mood: sore
music: Clocks-Rythms Del Mundo
I had a great saturday!
hooray!
i will only post a teensy bit right now, because i am uber wiped out.
ok, so i woke up, and brushed my teeth... just kidding! i would never go into that much detail on a blog post! ok, anyways, so i met ray for bubble tea. (taro milk tea with extra coloured bubbles - i has some.) then, we headed on over to game stop, where he bought a WoW expansion, and i finally bought animal crossing for my gamecube! ray and i watched about 8 hours of CSI: NY on "on demand", and then, sadly, he had to go. :( it was fun, ray, veerry funss. well, you thought i would stop there, didn't you? no, i won't. i ended up playing 2 hours of animal crossing (which, i must admit- is actually better than the DS: WW version) which messed up my thumbs a bit.
i did play some super mario sunshine before that though, but i am really an rpg kind of gal. i forgot to mention that my character's name is "pyan". i think it's kinda kyoot, ne. well, i am open for suggestions as to how/what i should name other characters. (you can't say "squirel" "mallow" "marsh" or "grinkle" because those are the names of the DS: WW version- not like you would anyways!)
gosh- why do i always post sooo late??
well, gotta snooze- Yuri

wow, i feel really silly, i have so much homework, that i feel like i'm drowning.
good news, i finally finished that annoying essay for english. now i have all of these geography worksheets on mt. everest, two science oral projects, english worksheets, and don't forget practicing my bass clarinet. i also have to read sense and sensibility, AGAIN, because my english teacher wanted me to read a "piece of literature that i could analyze".
so, of course, here i am, on the computer, working on my website, posting on my blog...
oh well. it was worth the effort.
wait- what effort? XD
I am watching numb3rs right now. ah, i love charlie. <3s
I'm sorry my posts are so short, but i really have nothing to do except complaining about homework.
i guess i'll talk about band. i have actually been doing pretty well, with jazz band and all. i AM nervous about this big year exam thing though- we have to play all 12 major scales in under 2 minutes. ugh... *shiver* *shiver*
on that note, i am leaving...
